Description
The PS5 Slim Digital Edition is a sleek, compact all-digital gaming console designed to deliver the same powerful next-generation performance as the disc version without a built-in disc drive. It is available in 1TB and 825GB SSD configurations, depending on the model, with the newer CFI-21xx series offering 825GB of storage. Both versions feature an AMD Zen 2 8-core/16-thread CPU, AMD Radeon RDNA-based graphics, 16GB GDDR6 memory and an ultra-high-speed SSD for fast loading and responsive gameplay.
Enjoy stunning visuals with ray tracing, HDR, 4K output, up to 120Hz/120fps gameplay and Variable Refresh Rate on compatible displays. The included DualSense Wireless Controller adds immersive haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, while Tempest 3D AudioTech creates a more detailed and spatial sound experience.
Because it is a Digital Edition, games are purchased and downloaded through the PlayStation Store, so an internet connection and PlayStation account are required. The Slim model also supports M.2 SSD expansion for additional game storage, while the newer Digital Edition can be fitted with a separately sold detachable disc drive, giving you the option to add physical-game support later.
The console includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI output and multiple USB ports, making it easy to connect your display, controller and other accessories. Its slimmer design takes up less space than the original PS5, while the included horizontal support feet allow convenient placement in your gaming setup.
With its combination of fast SSD performance, powerful graphics, immersive DualSense controls, 4K gaming and compact design, the PS5 Slim Digital Edition is an excellent choice for gamers who prefer downloading their games and want a clean, modern PlayStation setup without a built-in disc drive.
